Dear Customer
As you are aware, REACH, the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals
regulation came into force on 1st June 2007 and has required all manufacturers, importers
and downstream users of chemicals to be prepared, and fully aware of the impact this new
legislation would have on their business.
In order to fulfil our responsibilities with regard to REACH, we have now contacted all of our
suppliers, and they have given us their assurances that either they or their upstream
suppliers intend to pre-register and register as required the chemicals that we use to
manufacture our products. This therefore means that to the best of our knowledge we do not
have any obligations with regards to REACH regulation going forward.
We are now in the process of gathering any pre-registration numbers from our suppliers
(where applicable).
